Nikita is a warm, curious and approachable Registered Psychologist who works with children, adolescents and adults. She understands that starting therapy can feel daunting and aims to create an inclusive, non-judgemental space where people feel comfortable being themselves and talking openly about what is happening in their lives.
Nikita has a particular interest in working with neurodivergent clients across the lifespan, including people with ADHD and Autism. She supports clients with executive functioning difficulties, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression and low mood, OCD, perfectionism, low self-esteem, trauma, grief and adjusting to significant changes in life.
Nikita may be a good fit for you if...
You're looking for a psychologist who is warm, curious and genuinely interested in understanding you as an individual, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
You may find yourself overthinking, worrying or getting stuck on particular thoughts; struggling to get started, stay organised or follow through on things; feeling easily overwhelmed or finding emotions difficult to manage; or putting enormous pressure on yourself to get things right.
You might be navigating ADHD, Autism or other aspects of neurodivergence and wanting to better understand yourself and find strategies that work with the way your brain works.
For children and adolescents, Nikita can support young people experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, neurodivergence, perfectionism, low self-esteem and other challenges affecting their wellbeing at home, school or in everyday life.
Nikita's Approach
Nikita believes therapy should be collaborative and tailored to the individual. She works alongside clients to understand their experiences, recognise existing strengths and develop practical tools for navigating challenges and creating meaningful change.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) forming a core foundation. She also incorporates aspects of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), depending on each client's needs and goals.
Nikita has experience working across private practice and educational settings and has also been involved in running, researching and adapting a school-based anxiety program.
