Nicole (she/her) is a Provisional Psychologist who is completing a Masters of Clinical Psychology. Nicole provides evidence-based psychological support for children, adolescents, and families experiencing emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges. She supports young people with anxiety, depression, trauma, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and conduct difficulties, helping them build emotional regulation skills, resilience, and confidence. Nicole has a special interest in working with children and adolescents living with chronic health conditions, particularly Type 1 diabetes. She understands the impact of ongoing medical demands, including treatment fatigue, disruptions to school and friendships, and challenges related to sleep, identity, and body image. Nicole recognises that chronic illness affects the whole family and works collaboratively with children and caregivers to strengthen coping strategies, improve wellbeing, and support confident self-management. With experience in both primary and secondary school settings, Nicole offers strengths-based, developmentally appropriate therapy tailored to each child or adolescent’s unique needs. Her approach is family-centred and collaborative, supporting parents and caregivers with practical strategies to improve emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and overall development. Nicole is committed to creating a warm, safe, and supportive therapeutic environment where children, adolescents, and families feel heard, understood, and empowered to thrive. Outside of her clinical work, Nicole enjoys reading, creative pursuits, and spending meaningful time with loved ones.
