Candice De Jong

Nurse

Candice De Jong is a highly experienced Mental Health Registered Nurse with over 12 years of practice across diverse settings, including acute mental health, community care, rehabilitation, alcohol and drug services, and clinical governance roles. Her expertise spans neurodiversity, rehabilitation, and geriatric mental health, with a strong commitment to evidence-based care and collaborative models that enhance client outcomes. Currently, Candice is advancing her counselling skills in neurodivergent-affirming practices, focusing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based approaches, and Solution-Focused interventions for ADHD. Passionate About Enhancing mental health service delivery, promoting clinical excellence, and driving continuous improvement through collaboration and innovation. Candice is dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centred, trauma-informed care and supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey. Outside of work, Candice enjoys beach walks, nature, and spending time with her two children and her beloved black cat.

Chris is a nurse practitioner with over 25 years' experience working as a clinician in metropolitan hospitals to regional and remote clinics, both in Australia and the USA. He has a great deal of expertise in the coordination and management of long-term health conditions, and has a special interest in cardiovascular and lung disease. He holds a PhD in Nursing and has authored several peer-reviewed publications. Chris immigrated to Australia in 2007 and lives with his husband in Canberra with their Rhodesian Ridgeback, Doris.

Mr David Wen

Occupational Therapist

Mr David Wen is an Occupational Therapist with Mental Health Endorsement, experienced across drug and alcohol, older persons’ mental health, emergency mental health and intellectual disability mental health. Skilled in CBT, DBT and motivational interviewing, which provide comprehensive assessments, crisis intervention, and occupational rehabilitation. Mr Wen also serves as Chair of the Occupational Therapy Australia ACT Divisional Council and brings additional expertise in home modification, assistive technology, life skills training, and healthcare management. Divik Sukumaran is an AASW-accredited social worker with over twelve years’ experience in mental health, psychosocial support, and community services. His extensive background spans clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention, crisis management, and service coordination across both community and clinical settings. Divik’s professional expertise includes conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments, developing individualised treatment plans, and delivering evidence- based interventions that address the unique needs of each client. His practice is firmly grounded in trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented principles, and person- centred approaches, ensuring that clients are empowered to take an active role in their recovery journey. Over his career, Divik has supported people in diverse contexts, including community programs, mental health rehabilitation, and public health services. He has experience in crisis intervention, case management, staff and student supervision, and program development, with a proven ability to implement strong therapeutic relationships and achieve positive outcomes. As a multilingual professional, he is skilled in working effectively with culturally diverse communities. Holding a master’s in social work, he is dedicated to continuous professional development and maintaining best-practice standards.

Ms Ebony Anderson

Ebony has worked in the health industry since 1992, and Mental Health since 2006. She has Master's degrees in both Psychology and Advanced Practice Nursing and has been a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in the US since 2012. Ebony looks at each individual holistically and aims to assist each individual with a strengths-based approach. Ebony has used her AuDHD as a superpower to deeply study her special interests of Functional Psychiatry, Hormone Health, and Neurodiversity and is comitted to providing healthcare solutions that incorporate the intersection of the three. Ebony is currently a Functional Psychiatry Fellow of Dr. James Greenblatt, and has taken over 100 hours of additional training focused on the Peri/Menopausal transition from both Australian and US sources, keeping her views on healthcare both up to date and globally relevant.
