Koula is a Counsellor and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with specialist training as a Family Therapist. For over 30 years, Koula has worked with individuals, families, children and adolescents in a variety of settings. Parenting and Family Therapy are her specialty areas. She has worked in women’s health services, schools, family counselling services, and in community health, legal, family violence and multicultural sectors. She has assisted and counselled clients experiencing life and health issues such as depression, anxiety, as well as parenting and school difficulties, friendship and relationship issues.
Koula has a collaborative and respectful approach to counselling. She acknowledges that everyone is different, everyone’s experience is unique thus drawing on a range of approaches that suit the person, their experiences and reasons for attending Counselling.
Koula can provide professional supervision and secondary consultations.
