Overview

Ms Ying Huang is a registered Medicare provider, a SIRA WorkCover NSW accredited psychologist and registered Psychological Support Services (PSS) provider. She has been practising psychology in private sector since 2012. She provides evidence based assessment and treatment under the frameworks of Medicare GP Mental Health Treatment Plan, SIRA (WorkCover NSW and CTP injury claims), PSS and Lifetime Care program. Her work focuses on applying schema therapy to adults, couples, families, adolescents for a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, work stress, injury management, chronic pain, grief & loss and couple relationship difficulty. She have particular interests and experiences in treating Adult Mood Disorders and Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Rehabilitation counselling. She is bilingual and provides treatment in both English and/or Chinese Mandarin, and in a culturally appropriate context.
