Wenting Ruan completed a Master of Psychology (Clinical), a Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Psychology), and a Bachelor of Arts (major in Psychology and minor in Spanish). She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and currently enrolled in the clinical registrar program. She utilises a variety of counselling styles and interventions such as Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Behaviour therapy.
Wenting enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and the elderly and people from various cultural backgrounds. She has a particular interest in working with Clients who experience Anxiety, Depression, Behaviour Problems, or Trauma, health issues and suicidality as well as those Clients who need support surrounding cultural adjustment. She has clinical experiences as a Psychologist in the private psychology sector, oncology centre, palliative care, and neurodegenerative disease field.
