I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and full member of the Australian Association of Social Workers, with over 15 years’ experience supporting individuals, families, and communities across mental health and AOD (alcohol and other drug) settings. I hold a current Working with Children Card and have worked across education, health, and community sectors to provide person-centred, evidence-based care.
Currently, I support adolescents through early intervention and brief therapy, including individual counselling, family engagement, risk assessment, and delivery of a 10–12 session stepped care model. My work is grounded in trauma-informed, strengths-based practice, particularly with vulnerable youth in school and residential care settings.
I am experienced in supporting clients with anxiety, depression, grief, anger, interpersonal conflict, and substance use, using modalities such as CBT, ACT, narrative therapy, and solution focused therapy.
My background includes key roles in AOD recovery, including several years, where I delivered care coordination, group facilitation, and recovery support within a residential treatment program. I also provided counselling under the Connect to Wellbeing model, focusing on early intervention, harm minimisation, and psychological support.
Across all roles, I’ve built a collaborative and recovery-oriented practice that promotes resilience, empowerment, and lasting wellbeing.
