Tania Hager is a qualified Accredited Mental Health Social worker and has 20 years demonstrated experience working in government and public sectors. Tania has worked in hospitals, community organisations, correctional facilities and overseas working with refugees and asylum seekers with significant mental health issues. Tania has demonstrated experience working with individuals, adolescence, families and children specialising in mental health, disability, drug and alcohol, torture and trauma. Tania work's utilising a psychosocial assessment conceptualising all areas of concerns. Tania is a dedicated professional with an in-depth understanding of the issues affecting refugees and migrants with extensive experience of cross- culture environments. Tania is trained in evidence-based therapies including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Mindfulness. In addition Tania works within a strengths-based approach to empower individuals to reach their true potential.
