Susan Saxe is an understanding and compassionate counsellor with over 25 years’ experience and is a registered member of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Susan has engaged closely and extensively with a diverse range of clients including youth, adults, families, and court-mandated clients. Susan brings a personal approach to address client needs and facilitate achievement of their goals. Her therapeutic style is embedded in empathy, active listening, and collaboration. She fosters a genuine connection that promotes growth and personal development. Susan specialises in helping individuals overcome issues including (not limited to): substance use and addiction, • anxiety, • depression, • low self- esteem • relationship difficulties, • trauma • loss & grief. Susan has successfully supported numerous clients towards positive and lasting change. She draws on her extensive experience and training in various therapeutic modalities, such as Mindfulness, Acceptance & Commitment therapy (ACT), person-centred therapy, solution focused therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She believes strongly in helping clients to build resilience, enhance their self-awareness, and develop positive coping strategies. Susan is known for her empathic, authentic, curious, non-judgmental therapeutic style and wry sense of humour.
