Overview

Sue is a health psychologist who is passionate about empowering people to handle life's challenges well. She has a particular interest in the impact of chronic health conditions on people's lives and works with individuals, couples, families to improve one's quality of life and to achieve important goals energised by one's values. Sue works from evidence based psychological frameworks such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing along with Systemic frameworks informed by Family therapy Theories. Issues such as mood disturbances, adjustment and life style changes, sleep difficulties, pain management, chronic health concerns, grief and loss issues encompass some of the areas Sue has expertise in.
