I work with adults, and have a particular passion for supporting women and gender-diverse people, including those from LGBTQIA+ communities. I have specific experience working with people navigating health challenges including chronic illness and oncology, pregnancy and baby loss, and decision-making around pregnancy. I am also a registered provider of non-directive pregnancy options counselling.
What people come to see me for:
Depression and anxiety
Trauma and its impacts
Grief and loss
Identity exploration
Health-related emotional support
Pregnancy and reproductive experiences
I offer talk therapy, art therapy, or a combination of both, and we work together to find what suits you. My practice draws on Narrative Therapy, Sensorimotor Art Therapy, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Psychoeducation, and Mindfulness approaches. Sensorimotor Art Therapy combines body awareness with creative expression, working with the understanding that trauma and difficult emotions are often held in the body as well as the mind. No artistic skill is required at all. My practice is trauma-informed and neuroaffirming, which means I adapt to your unique ways of communicating and processing the world.
I value connection, honesty, and genuine collaboration in the therapy room, and I believe you are the expert in your own life.
Outside of work, I’m a mixed media artist working with textiles, paper, and found objects. I also love reading and dancing, both of which have shaped the way I think about the relationship between mind, body, and creativity.
