Sarah has full membership with EMDR Association of Australia. She has 13 years of
experience as a Social Worker, providing therapeutic counselling services and has
extensive experience working with adults in the trauma space.
Sarah is a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) practitioner,
and her other training undertaken includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical
Behavioural Therapy.
Sarah is the Owner and Director of Woodville Mental Health Counselling Service.
Counselling can take place in person, via phone or internet.
She has a commitment to offer counselling that is compassionate, attuned, holistic and
safe. She focuses on empowerment and cooperative self-determination. Her therapeutic
approach is flexible and adapted to the individual.
Sarah is passionate about working alongside people to develop their own strengths, skills
and strategies so these challenges have much less impact on them and so they can focus
on the things in life that are most meaningful to them.
