My name is Sarah and I am a Registered Psychologist who is committed to helping people move forward to live a fulfilling, connected and meaningful life. I love hearing people's stories and listen with great warmth, empathy and compassion, always coming from a place of complete acceptance and non-judgement. Together we will work on implementing effective strategies and approaches that will assist you in managing your current concerns and challenges, and support you in meeting your therapeutic goals. I see everyone as already having their own innate strengths, gifts, abilities and unique insights and sometimes we need help in identifying and harnessing those inner resources.. Sarah has completed a Bachelor of Psychology and a Diploma of Education in School Psychology. She is registered with APHRA and is a Member of the APS. Sarah uses a evidence - based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Brief Strategic Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. She is flexible, relaxed, creative and grounded in her approach. Sarah has worked with a variety of clients including children, adolescents and adults both in Government and Non-Government Educational settings as w,ell as within the not-for-profit sector. She is particularly interested in the areas of stress-management, health and lifestyle, life transition, relationship counselling, effective communication and new parenting.
