My approach to therapy is for us to work collaboratively to better understand your emotional and mental blocks, and how these blocks can impact on you living your best life.
I use a holistic approach to tailor the intervention to your needs, and will work with you to identify the goals you would like to target in therapy.
My approach is positive, warm, explorative, and solution-focused.
Sanja completed her Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology at Macquarie University between 2002-2008. She completed her Psychologist Registration Program at the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP) in 2011. Sanja is currently registered as a General Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Sanja is also a qualified Reparative Parenting facilitator - a parenting program for foster carers.
Sanja has experience working with a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents, and adults.
Sanja has worked with adult clients struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, chronic pain, trauma and PTSD, anxiety and depression, stress management, parenting issues, relationship and life transition issues. She also has experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, ODD, and trauma backgrounds.
Sanja has a special interest in working with children and adolescents to help them set up a positive mental health toolbox, as well as working with parents and carers who are seeking parenting support.
