Ms Nez Erok Counsellor

Nez Erok is a compassionate counsellor with extensive professional experience. She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Nez has a substantial background working in private practice and in the government and non-government sectors. She provides effective therapeutic support across a diverse range of issues to adolescents, adults and couples. Nez’s engaging and welcoming approach helps to put her clients at ease, and creates a safe space for them to open up and discuss any concerns. Nez provides unconditional support to her clients, guiding them to achieve insight about their concerns at their own desired pace. In this way, her client’s feel heard without judgement, and empowered to make changes in their own time and way. Nez is particularly skilled at helping her clients to improve communication, build trust, and deepen their authentic relationship with self and others. Nez draws on a range of counselling approaches, and responds to individual needs and issues as they arise with a non-judgmental Person Centred Approach. Some of the therapeutic techniques that Nez uses include: Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Solution-Orientated Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
