Ms Natalie Walker Nurse

Airmid Mental Health Pty Ltd Toowoomba City, Queensland, 4350

Overview

Natalie has been providing mental health care to the people of Queensland who may be experiencing mental health problems. Her lived experience of raising her children, all of whom have displayed challenging behaviours and associated issues, compliments her clinical knowledge and places her in a unique position to share her wealth of knowledge. For the last eighteen years of her career, Natalie has specialised in Forensic Mental Health / Disability with Darling Downs Health. In that time she has worked across a full range of clinical settings, including general mental health (acute inpatient, extended inpatient, community, and disability), forensic mental health and rural and remote community mental health. Mental Health care is not just about the diagnosed illness, Natalie employs a holistic approach and supports both children and adults to become better versions of themselves. The path to recovery should include everyone being on the same page, Natalie encourages this by creating an inclusive group of people invested in supporting the person – be that their significant other, family or care providers
