Overview

I am a Clinical Psychologist with experience in both the private and government sectors. I work with adolescents (15 years and older), young adults, and adults, and I’m especially passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I have experience with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, grief and loss, relationship issues, personality disorders, trauma, self-harm and suicidal ideation, and substance misuse. I aim to create a warm and safe environment in which to establish strong therapeutic relationships with my clients. I work to help clients understand their emotions, thoughts, and behavioural patterns, and the origins of these patterns, as well as develop management strategies. I use various therapeutic approaches to inform treatment, including Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
