Monique is a dedicated and compassionate counsellor and psychotherapist with over 15 years
of experience in the mental health field, holding a Bachelor of counselling at Notre Dame, and a
Master of social work at UWA.
Her counselling approach emphasises support towards a clearer and more peaceful sense of
self, a renewed sense of purpose, nurturing engagement in honest conversations and personal
growth at your pace. Monique specialises in providing a safe and supportive environment for
individuals seeking to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
Passionate about empowering people to make meaningful changes in their lives, Monique
works collaboratively with challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief and
loss, trauma (childhood trauma, sexual trauma , domestic violence), and life transitions ( into
marriage, into parenthood, into retirement , etc..) and more. No topic is off the table, whether
big or small.
With a deep understanding of various therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and
Commitment Therapy (fifth wave CBT), Narrative therapy, Brief Solution Focussed Therapy and
Person Centred Therapy, Monique tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each
