Ms Michelle Vassallo Psychologist

Michelle is a registered psychologist who has experience in providing various therapeutic approaches including play therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, ACT therapy, the FRIENDS program, Signpost Parenting and other evidence based interventions. Additionally, Michelle has experience in assessing children and adolescents’ innate ability to learn, academic skills, behaviour and developmental abilities using various standardized and dynamic assessment procedures. Using a family centred approach, Michelle recognises that children and adolescents are not raised in isolation. She strongly believes in working collaboratively with families, teachers and the child/adolescent using a strengths based approach to empower families.
