Michelle is a clinical psychologist and is registered under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with specialist endorsements in Clinical Psychology (Registration No. PSY0001128057). She is also a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is a member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
She has worked extensively in the public system and had a broad range of experience with mental health issues. Prior to commencing in private practice she served for 7 years as a clinical psychologist with the NSW Police Force where she assessed and treated police officers with a range of psychological disorders particularly Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She has more than 20 year’s clinical experience in hospitals, medical centres, community health centers and in corporate (EAP) and educational settings (TAFE and University). She aims to provide an empathic and supportive treatment environment where the focus is on teaching practical psychological strategies to overcome psychological problems such as anxiety disorders, PTSD, depression, eating disorders and low self-esteem.
