She completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences with Honours in Psychology and a Master of Psychology (Clinical). She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and the Clinical College of the APS. Mara is practiced in delivering cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Mara has experience working with a range of clients, including adolescents and adults. She has a keen interest in working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, perfectionism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, body image concerns, low self-esteem, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and interpersonal difficulties. She has worked across a range of settings, including schools, government and community organisations, and private practice.
