Overview

Leah has over 6 years’ experience working as a psychologist and provides treatment for clients aged 16 and over, right through the spectrum of adulthood. Leah supports a wide range of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol use, and trauma. Leah is compassionate, professional and non-judgemental. Leah’s strengths-based approach can incorporate techniques from a range of modalities. Leah has training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and mindfulness. Leah works with each individual client to develop and implement a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. Leah has experience facilitating several groups including CBT based groups for anxiety, DBT groups for alcohol and other drug use, and assertive communication groups. Leah is passionate about supporting individuals to create meaningful change in their lives and move towards positive mental health.
