Kirsten (she/her) has 10 years experience as a physiotherapist in the community setting. She is passionate about providing nurturing and empowering support to those she works with, providing a place that is safe and supportive. She is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Australia Disability Committee, and is the course creator for the APA's level 1 disability course, which she also teaches.
She is highly experienced in working with complex and rare presentations, and has a special interest in working with conditions that are often misunderstood or poorly managed such as CFS/ME, EDS, POTS, and chronic pain as well as working with teenagers and young adults with disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and other rare genetic conditions. Her third passion is in supporting and advocating for healthy ageing, supporting this population to enjoy life the way they want to in a way that feels safe and supported.
Throughout all her passion areas her vision and drive is the same- provide care that is nurturing and empowering to those whose voice and story is often overlooked.
