With over ten years of hands-on experience working with families (and children), and the school environment, drawing on a Master of Counselling, Kim brings a wealth of experience to her counselling. Kim supports children, teens, and adults with care and professionalism. Kim believes in providing a welcoming environment where clients feel heard and understood. Focused on the individual needs of the client, Kim can incorporate creative and play-based therapy.1 . Kim's practice integrates evidence-based counselling techniques (including practical strategies) with a compassionate, whole-person perspective, helping individuals build resilience, navigate challenges, and cultivate wellbeing. Practical help with trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence (ADHD, ASD), conflict, relationships, school refusal, child attachment issues, understanding child development, perfectionism, teenage anxiety, unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns, grief and loss including pet bereavement, co-parenting and blended family relationships, empty-nesting, raising emotionally healthy children, helping children with big feelings With Gottman Couple training, Kim enjoys working with couples, using practical strategies, to bring healing and hope in relationships.
