Kay is a warm, down-to-earth practitioner who balances empathy with practicality. She offers a calm, thoughtful, and non-judgmental space where people can feel heard, build new skills, and grow in confidence as they navigate life’s challenges.
She deeply values the knowledge, expertise, and life experience each person brings to therapy. Kay encourages clients to explore their unique perspectives, gently challenge unhelpful patterns, and develop strategies that align with their strengths, values, and goals.
Working with adults, Kay draws on a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Positive Psychology, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
She has a particular interest in supporting people through stress, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and workplace or relationship challenges. With a previous career in IT project management, Kay especially enjoys working with quirky, technically minded, or neurodiverse clients who appreciate a logical, no-nonsense approach.
On weekends, you’ll find her spending time with family and friends, reading, or chasing after her mischievous cavoodle, Teddy, at the dog park.
