Ms Katherine McDowell-Silvas Occupational Therapist

Katherine is a senior clinician specialising in family therapy, parenting , child and adolescent mental health disorders, parent-child attachment and family of origin work. Katherine is registered with AHPRA and Medicare. She is a regular attendee at the Family Systems Institute and has worked in public and private child, adolescent and family mental health settings for the past 30 years. Katherine’s specialised area of practice and interest is Family Therapy. She has extensive knowledge and experience about what families need to navigate the many challenges life can present. Katherine has many years of experience assessing and treating child and adolescent mental health disorders and has worked alongside some of Sydney’s most experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists and Psychologists . Katherine is adept at working with separated families including those within the Australian Family Court and undergoing Mediation.
