Katherine has a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, a Bachelor of Education and Masters in Educational Leadership. She is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Katherine has completed training in several evidence-based approaches such as: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and is currently training in Schema Therapy.
Katherine is passionate about working with people of all ages and has had broad experience with young children, adolescents and their parents. She has worked with a wide array of presentations, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, anger management, bullying, relationship difficulties and personality disorders.Katherine has worked as a School Counsellor for five years and in the educational sector as an English teacher for over thirty years. Katherine has had a lot of experience dealing with adolescent development and parenting issues. She has a keen interest in working with people experience relationship difficulties.
