Karen offers counselling and psychotherapy to individuals over 18 to older age and clinical supervision for individuals and groups. She is a compassionate, authentic and seasoned therapist with over 35 years of clinical experience. Karen is committed to giving her clients an opportunity to feel safe, understood and respected Her approach incorporates openness and transparency and is informed by a balance of professionalism and lived, personal experience. In both private and community sectors Karen continues to focus on adapting to the uniqueness of each person and their life journey. This is applicable whether it is because of childhood trauma or life changing events. She has extensive experience in mental health and complex post traumatic disorders, particularly where there are symptoms of depression, anxiety or addiction, affecting quality of life or relationships.
