Ms Karee Stewart Psychologist

Karee Stewart, BPsych(Hons), Master of Applied Psychology in Clinical Psychology. I work from a primarily compassion based approach developed for people with high shame and low self-worth. The idea is to challenge self-criticism and self-attacking by developing and working with experiences of inner warmth, soothing, compassion and self-compassion. I also have experience with schema therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. I have worked with clients struggling with disordered eating from across the lifespan and with various diagnoses and aim to create a space that is safe and compassionate. I take both self-referrals and referrals from GP's. Clients who have a mental health care plan may be entitled to reduced fees or medicare rebates.
