Jessica is a registered psychologist who is passionate and specialises in working with children and young people aged 3 to 15 years. She has experience working in primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong and Australia, as well as in the community with a variety of presentations, including anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Jessica is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin with experiences in supporting families from a CALD background.
Jessica has a strong interest in supporting the well-being and positive development of young people. She tailors therapeutic approach based on individual client’s needs and draws from a range of evidence-based treatments, including Play Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness. She also provides psychological assessments to children and adolescents. Jessica values working collaboratively with families, schools, and other health professions to help promote better outcomes, as well as employs a strength-based approach in her work to empower young people to recognise their unique strengths and abilities.
