Overview

Julie-Anne is a trained Mental Health Social Worker with post graduate training in Family therapy and a Master's in child and Adolescent Mental Health. She is a Member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and is registered as a Mental Health Social worker. She has also been a Clinical Member of the Victorian Association of Family Therapy. Julie-Anne has over 20 years’ experience working with children, young people, families and individuals in a range of clinical, community and school settings. Psychoanalytical theory underpins Julie-Anne’s practice, and she utilises a range of therapeutic techniques in response to the needs of the clients she supports. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Based Therapy, and Psychodynamic Approaches. Julie-Anne is passionate about her work and interested in assisting clients to affect positive and sustainable change in their lives though respectful collaborative dialogue.
