Overview

I am a fully endorsed and accredited clinical psychologist with additional post graduate qualifications in treatments for major mental disorders and drug and alcohol issues. I have had many years experience working in all areas of public and private mental health practice with both adults and children. I have developed specialist skills in psychological assessments and psychometric testing and will write reports for education purposes, child and adult neurological disorders, and court/criminal justice situations. I am particularly interested in working with both children and adults with complex trauma and children and families with behavioural difficulties. I am passionate about evidence-based treatment in order to work with people effectively and meaningfully. Even though I believe this level of skill in therapy is essential, I also believe that without compassion, awareness and courage, skills are not enough to create hope or change. I am committed to sharing both these aspects of myself with each person.
