Overview

Jessica works with children, teenagers and adults. After completing a Masters in Clinical Psychology she has worked in Melbourne and more recently in the United Kingdom. Jessica has experience running individual and group interventions with children, adolescents and adults across a range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, body image concerns, low self-esteem, traumatic brain injury, schizophrenia, anger management, post-traumatic stress, attachment issues, alcohol and/or drug addiction and neurodevelopmental diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Jessica’s approach is strengths-based and she emphasises a collaborative approach that reflects warmth, empathy and genuineness. Jessica values openness and feedback, and the importance of making her clients feel comfortable through building a strong therapeutic relationship. Her training has primarily comprised of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, but she also incorporates techniques relevant to Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy. Jessica can tailor treatment plans to the needs and goals of her clients. Jessica is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Outside her clinical work she enjoys trying new food spots, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
