Overview

Jess started her psychology career in a forensic environment with a focus on suicide-risk assessment. She has since gained well-rounded experience working in organisational settings, private practice, and rural and remote locations, working FIFO into Cape York and the FNQ Tablelands for the Royal Flying Doctor Service for 5 years, currently holding the title of Clinical Lead, as well as completing multiple appointments as Acting Team Lead - Far North Mental Health. Jess has completed several internships and business development projects in organisational settings, including for VOICE [Sarina Russo], Caterpillar, GUPSA, and has also produced a capability framework for a surgical department within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. Jess is a Board-approved Supervisor (PsyBA), specialsing in rural and remote work, and she has a passion for perinatal mental health for mums, dads, and other parent-figures, as well as working with new Australians, those with language and cultural differences, and rural and remote-based clients.
