Ms Jeanine Leabeater Psychologist

I feel so privileged to work with my clients, to get to know you and work with you in a meaningful way. It is amazing when my clients take a proactive approach to their mental health and together we make that change. I can’t wait for us to get started! Jeanine completed a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Psychology with a minor in Criminology and a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) Psychology. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Jeanine is trained in several evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (A.C.T.) amongst others. Jeanine has a wide range of experience working with a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents and adults. She has extensive experience working with people with disabilities, including physical and intellectual disabilities. Jeanine has worked with people experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), low self esteem, childhood trauma, domestic violence and interpersonal difficulties. She has worked in a variety of settings including schools, government organisations, non government organisations, for not for profit organisations and in private practice.
