Janet is a bilingual English- and Mandarin-speaking psychologist who is passionate about helping people better understand themselves and how these insights can support meaningful change. Her clinical experience includes work in a specialist neurodevelopmental assessment clinic, alongside clinical work across university and public hospital settings.
Janet has a particular interest in psychological assessment, including cognitive, learning, memory, executive functioning, functional and decision-making capacity, and neurodevelopmental assessment. She approaches assessment as more than test scores or a diagnostic label. For Janet, it is an opportunity to understand the person behind the results, make sense of their experiences, and identify practical ways forward.
Alongside assessment, Janet provides psychological therapy for anxiety, stress, adjustment and life transitions. She is particularly interested in supporting people experiencing chronic health conditions, professional pressures, burnout, and periods of significant change. Janet takes a thoughtful, person-centred approach and values creating a space where people feel heard, understood and able to explore their experiences without judgement.
Before becoming a psychologist, Janet spent over a decade working across international professional services, corporate finance and consulting environments. This experience gives her an additional perspective on professional life, complex decision-making, and the pressures that can accompany demanding careers and major life transitions.
