I have been a Social Worker for 7 years and I have been working in welfare for closer to 14 years. I came to Social Work from Education and Health because I didn’t feel I could support young people in that model. I then worked in Family violence, with trauma and in Child Protection. This burnt me out pretty fast, its a really hard job and the system is tricky. I then went into private practice specialising in children with dual diagnosis of ADHD, Autism and mental health (usually anxiety or sleep problems). I also work sessionally at Charles Sturt University on their Masters of Social Work Program. It is my hope with the combination of my training, experience and passion that I can make a difference for you and your family.
