Most people come to counselling because they want to feel better. My role as a counsellor involves working with my clients to collaboratively to work towards this and any other end as decided by the client. As a counsellor trained in narrative therapy, I practice from a stance that places the client as the expert on their own life and locates problems as being separate from people.
I am a trauma informed practitioner and have experience working with clients who have found a range of issues challenging including: depression, anxiety, grief, loss, recovering from family and domestic violence, relationship issues and many more.
