Overview

I can provide individual (children, teenagers and adults) and couples counselling. One-on-one counselling with individuals involves dealing with a wide range of psychological and emotional issues, including academic and vocational challenges. I work with each client to alleviate distress, promote self-understanding and develop effective solutions to the obstacles impeding their growth and success. My professional approach is client-centered and holistic. I utilise evidence based interventions and practical strategies that are tailored to meet individual client needs. The focus is on client empowerment and learning to maximise their well-being. I have experience working with people overcoming a range of challenges such as, though not limited to, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, anger, behavioural issues, pain management, substance addiction and other addictive behaviours, self-esteem, parenting and interpersonal issues.
