Hello, I’m Deena Cooper—a Performance Psychologist, endorsed Educational and Developmental Psychologist, Animal Assisted Therapist, and devoted equestrian. My work uniquely blends evidence-based psychology, including sport psychology, with my passion for animals, assisting clients of all ages in achieving well-being and optimal performance.
With years of experience as a Performance & Mindset Psychologist for equestrians, I work with children, teens, and adults, providing both professional insight and personal understanding of the challenges horse riders face when pursuing their goals. As an avid rider, I’ve competed across various equestrian disciplines, including dressage, show jumping, western performance, and now, cutting horses. My own journey in overcoming performance anxiety has profoundly shaped my approach—enabling me to help others build confidence, resilience, and clarity both in and out of the arena.
