Deborah is a compassionate and experienced psychologist and counsellor who holds degrees in both Psychology and Counselling, along with a wide range of certifications in various psychological and therapeutic approaches. She is specially trained in CBT-E and DBT-BN for eating disorder treatment and is recognised as an Accredited Eating Disorder Clinician by the Australian and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED). Deborah is also a Certified Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Practitioner (C-DBT).
With over 20 years of experience, Deborah has supported adults and young people through a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, sport performance concerns, and addictions. She brings warmth and empathy to her work, creating a space where clients feel truly heard and supported.
Deborah’s approach is grounded in a deep understanding of trauma-informed care. She draws on a variety of therapeutic models such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Art Therapy. This rich blend of approaches allows her to tailor each session to meet the unique needs of her clients.

She believes in working alongside her clients, helping them feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences.
