I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience, deeply committed to fostering growth, confidence, and professional identity in both therapy and supervision. I completed my undergraduate and honours training at James Cook University in Townsville, followed by a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Sydney. I am STAP-trained and provide supervision to Clinical Registrars, fully registered psychologists, and practitioners on the 5+1 pathway.
I currently serve as Discipline Lead for Psychology across the Metro South district at Princess Alexandra Hospital, where I oversee a team of 25 psychologists. My approach to supervision is reflective, process-focused, and individually tailored, with particular expertise in working with complex presentations, including personality disorders and trauma-related difficulties.
My clinical career spans a broad range of settings. I have extensive experience in trauma-informed therapy and have facilitated both DBT and CBT groups. I have worked within school systems supporting children and adolescents, and previously served as a psychologist with the Queensland Police, gaining valuable insight into high-pressure environments and diverse clinical presentations
As an AHPRA‑approved supervisor, I develop and assess core competencies in assessment, intervention, ethics, communication, and reflective practice. Using methods such as direct observation, case discussion, role‑play, and structured feedback, I support supervisees in meeting registration requirements while building confidence and professional identity.
