Hello and welcome. Claire has extensive experience working with individuals of all different ages, ranging from preschool through to older people. Claire takes a client centre approach using research backed theories, she has a strong belief that one size does not fits all, and so tailors each therapy plan to meet each individual’s needs and wants. Claire has extensive knowledge in a range of different areas including anxiety, depression, ASD, ADHD, chronic health concerns, parenting support, and school refusal.
Claire completed a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours. She is a General Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Claire uses a strength-based approach that is tailored to each individual’s needs. Claire uses a range of different evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, problem solving skills, communication skills, Motivational Interviewing, and psycho-education.
Claire has worked with individuals from all walks of life, from toddlers through to 80-year-olds, in different settings including private practice, hospitals, rural community health services, and NDIS services. Claire has extensive experience working with different presentations including, anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation concerns, school refusal, mood disorders, learning difficulties, bullying, ASD, OCD, self-esteem, ADHD, chronic health, stress management, parenting support, and burnout issues.
