Chathurika is the co-founder and physiotherapist in VitalityVibe Physiotherapy. Chathurika’s preferred name is Chathu and she is very friendly and kind hearted and she can be a great team player. Chathu has graduated in 2016 with her Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Since moving to Australia from Sri Lanka, Chathu has expanded her knowledge, skills and experience through her Geriatric and Musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She has worked in a leading physiotherapy provider called Plena healthcare and worked in many Aged cares in South East Melbourne. Currently she is working in private practice and community services. Chathu is skilled in assessing and diagnosing different medical conditions for all age groups and provides effective evidence-Based hands on treatment as well as exercise prescription and management techniques to prevent and minimise the impact of injury. Chathu is dedicated to helping her patients achieve their health goals and get the possible outcomes for every patient. She believes that understanding underlying anatomy, physiology and biomechanics of the musculoskeletal system is essential for providing effective treatment. Chathu always passionate about broadening her knowledge and skills and has completed the GLA:D Australia Training program from LaTrobe University which will be beneficial for those affected by arthritic conditions. She also a certified GEMt Dry Needler and using as a best treatment method during her service. Chathu is multillingual and speaking English, Sinhala, Tamil and can understand Hindi aswell.
