I am very passionate about helping people explore and confront their own psychology without fear, to help them on a journey to realise their goals in their personal and professional lives. In addition to my technical skills, I can quickly connect and understand your problems and issues in a very nuanced and personable way, being attuned to your individual qualities, no matter how severe or mild the problem. I will develop a treatment plan that is unique to your needs and will also strive to extend your goals and learning. My 20 years’ experience is vast, having started my career in nursing before embarking on study to become a clinical psychologist. I am a fully registered practitioner with AHPRA with a Master in Clinical psychology and participate in regular professional development activities.I only ever deliver evidence based, targeted treatment, including Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure therapy, Psychodynamic, motivational interviewing and mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT). I am a principled practitioner, always collaborative, respectful and outcome driven, encouraging people to feel comfortable to raise their concerns, and feel reassured that they are receiving safe, expert advice and treatment. My experience base is broad, including working in public and private hospitals and clinics, NFP organisations and corporate settings, providing assessment, treatment, secondary and tertiary consultations, and supervising/mentoring. I see people presenting with a broad spectrum of presentations, including trauma, depressive and anxiety based disorders, workplace bullying, phobias, relationship issues, stress disorders, schizophrenia, self-harm, suicidal behaviour, personality disorders, grief and relationship issues.
