Ms Audrey Sarmiento Counsellor

I am a registered counsellor with a Master of Counselling and a background in Psychology. I support individuals from diverse backgrounds, including culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, LGBTQIA+ clients, and people living with disability. My areas of focus include trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, domestic abuse and relationship difficulties. My practice is trauma-informed, person-centred, and guided by compassion. I draw on evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and narrative therapy. I believe that healing unfolds in your own time - with gentleness, curiosity, and care.
