Ms Astra Joynt Midwife

Astra is an Endorsed Midwife based in Northern NSW Australia. Since gaining initial registration in 2008, Astra has worked in both large urban and small regional hospitals, in the community and in clients homes. She has developed a broad suite of skills and experience from working with people experiencing both very straightforward and complex pregnancies, to providing community care for Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander families, group and individual antenatal and postnatal care, lactation consulting, teaching students both in the university system and hospital settings, as well as supporting low-tech homebirth. As an Endorsed Midwife, Astra can support you with Medicare rebatable antenatal, postnatal and lactation care throughout pregnancy, and until your baby is 7 weeks old, in my clinic, your home, or via Telehealth if you live outside of my region.
