Ariel Reyneke is a dedicated Clinical Psychologist with a background in both clinical mental health and forensic settings. After completing her Master’s degree in South Africa, she gained extensive experience providing psychotherapy, psychological assessments, and rehabilitative support to individuals navigating a wide range of mental health and life challenges.
Ariel has worked with diverse populations presenting with acute mental health conditions, mood disorders, trauma, relational and interpersonal difficulties, substance use concerns, personality adaptations, adjustment issues, and experiences of grief and loss. She brings a deep understanding of complex mental health needs and is passionate about providing thoughtful, individualised care.
Ariel has conducted comprehensive trauma-informed specialist psychological assessments, including diagnostic formulations and treatment planning. She values a flexible and responsive therapeutic approach – drawing from an integrative approach tailored to individual needs, including psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Schema Therapy, and EMDR to support clients in processing traumatic experiences, improve relational capacity, and live meaningful lives grounded in a sense of hope of the future. She works from a person-centred perspective and believes that effective therapy is built on empathy, trust, and collaboration.
A strong advocate for those whose voices are often unheard, Ariel is particularly passionate about supporting individuals who face barriers to accessing quality mental health care, whether due to psychosocial or socioeconomic challenges.
