Anna is a Clinical Psychologist with over 19 years of experience working with individuals, families, couples and adolescents within a variety of non-government agencies, as well as in private practice. She has extensive experience delivering brief psychological interventions for Employee Assistance Programs, and working with separated families and adolescents within the community service sector. Her approach is person centred and respectful.
Anna in employs a range of therapeutic strategies based on the client’s needs and the issues presented. She draws from Mindfulness based methods, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and is experienced in teaching meditation and relaxation skills.
Anna can also provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing EMDR therapy for those suffering with unresolved trauma.
Anna has particular interest in providing clients with the skills to increase self-awareness to enhance well-being and self-support.
Medicare rebates are available under GP referred ‘Mental Health Care Plans’ and fees may be scaled when cost is a barrier to service.
