Amanda Damian is a qualified counsellor (ACA level 2) and accredited clinical supervisor with extensive experience supporting adults and people with disabilities. She specialises in trauma-informed, attachment-based, and neurodiversity-affirming practice, with a strong focus on sexual abuse recovery, disability rights, and working with people who have used violence. Amanda integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, art therapy, and psychoeducation to create safe, empowering spaces for healing and change. She has particular expertise in supporting clients with complex communication needs, and works collaboratively using accessible and inclusive tools. Amanda also offers clinical supervision for professionals in the disability, violence prevention, and community sectors. Her approach is relational, reflective, and centred on practice that challenges ableism and honours lived experience.
